Newborn Photography with Natural Light | Wisbech, Cambridgeshire | Jan 22 | Motherhood Photography

I want to tell you about this wonderful shoot I did last week with a beautiful baby called Freddie. It was in my home, which is currently one room. I made room for the beanbag, flipped my sofa round so that Mum could sit and watch and get involved where needed, and put up a simple white backdrop to hide anything else in my home. It was pretty makeshift.

But using the light that we did have, we created some of my favourite photos to date. We started off with Freddie lying on his back. He was pretty chilled to start with, asleep. So I could get plenty of his lovely features.

And we took our time. He was a little unsettled and so Mum fed him, and cuddled him, and talked to him. It brought out the best in Freddie. He really was so happy after that, and honestly, these photos just melt me completely.

Sorry Asa (my husband) this does not help with the broodiness!
